New Teeth in One Day

If you have missing teeth or are tired of dealing with uncomfortable dentures that are constantly slipping and require too much maintenance, you might be a good candidate for New Teeth in One Day. Unlike traditional implant procedures, which consist of multiple appointments spread out over a period of months or even over one year to complete, New Teeth in One Day restore your full arch in just one visit. As a result, you can begin feeling confident in your smile and enjoy the foods you love without having to go through that awkward waiting period of having a missing tooth or teeth.

While you will be able to immediately start enjoying your smile, you will need to return at a later date to replace the temporary crown with your permanent one. Once the permanent crown has been placed, your New Teeth in One Day process will be complete.

What is Involved in the Procedure?

Prior to performing this procedure, it will first be necessary to schedule an initial evaluation to determine if you are a viable candidate for this procedure. In order to do so, your jaw will have to be healthy and have a sufficient quantity of mass. If your jawbone does not meet these qualifications, other implant options may be considered. You may also consider a dental bone graft to restore your jawbone density.

Another factor that will determine whether New Teeth in One Day are right for you is the current state of your oral and physical health. Patients who have gum disease or other oral health related issues will need to first address the underlying cause of these issues before New Teeth in One Day can be placed. Individuals with underlying health issues, such as osteoporosis, diabetes, or Paget’s disease are also not considered good candidates for New Teeth in One Day, as all of these issues hinder the osseointegration process, which significantly increases the likelihood of implant failure.

If you are a good candidate for New Teeth in One Day, the process will begin with a thorough examination, which will include X-rays and CT scans. These 3D images will determine how many implants are needed and the best placement positions where the bone is strongest to ensure your implants are as stable as possible. Next, your new teeth will be created in a lab after we have discussed your aesthetic preferences and taken impressions of your mouth. There are a variety of different materials to choose from, all of which have their pros and cons. Once you have settled on the appearance of your crowns, your next step will be a follow up visit to have your new teeth placed.

On the day of your procedure, a local anesthetic will be administered along with dental sedation if preferred or necessary. If necessary, any remaining teeth will be extracted, after which the titanium post or posts that will serve as the root of your new teeth are placed in your jawbone and a temporary set of teeth are fitted onto the arch.

Following placement of your temporary teeth, you will have several follow-up visits over the next few months to evaluate the condition of your New Teeth in One Day and make sure everything is healing properly. Once the implants have healed fully, you will return for one last visit where your permanent teeth will be placed.
