Dr. Youstina Mikhail is a passionate Periodontist, renowned not only for her prowess in the professional field but also for her zest for life and continuous learning. Originating from Cairo, Egypt, her academic odyssey in dentistry led her to graduate with honors from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at Cairo University in 2015. Following this, she pursued advanced specialization from the Department of Periodontology, School of Dental Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, Ohio. Throughout her scholastic journey, Dr. Mikhail consistently showcased excellence, positioning herself at the apex of her cohorts.
Education, Training, Honors and Awards:
Throughout her academic trajectory, Dr. Mikhail's dedication and talent were evident. Celebrated as the "First and Highest-ranking student" for four consecutive years across three distinct Egyptian universities, surpassing more than 400 students in total. Over her six academic years, she consistently ranked within the top 5% of her class and secured her position as one of the two top-ranking students, boasting a cumulative GPA of 4.00/4.00. In 2013, she was recognized with a certificate of distinction by the Student Union. In 2014, she also achieved the highest score among her class in the student exchange program exam, leading to her specialized training in Cranio-maxillofacial Surgery under general anesthesia at the Medical University in Innsbruck, Austria. Her accolades are numerous, including the "Merit scholarship for an Observership at the comprehensive clinic in the Dental University of Kiel, Germany", and the “Most Helpful” student shield of honor bestowed by the student union.
Professional Training:
Professionally, since her initiation into dentistry, Dr. Mikhail has been at the forefront of technological advancements. Notably, she possesses extensive experience in robotically guided implant surgeries via the YOMI Robot and the comprehensive integration of digital implant surgery and 3-D printing workflow, including advanced techniques in digital implant planning and implant guide printing.
A passionate and committed periodontist, she possesses expertise in delivering specialized periodontal care, placing special emphasis on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases, implant placement, and reconstructive measures. She further enriched the field with her contributions as a full-time faculty member at the Periodontics department of Cairo University from 2018 to 2019 and provided her supervision at the pre-doctoral clinic at Case Western Reserve University.
Beyond the confines of her clinic, she’s an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and is a passionate advocate for patient education on periodontal health. Dr. Mikhail is also adept at communicating in multiple languages. She is fluent in English and Arabic, with basic proficiency in German, ensuring a diverse patient base feels comfortable and understood under her care.

However, Dr. Mikhail's life is more than her impressive accomplishments. A lifelong learner, she has delved into the world of Psychology, completing two years of counseling studies and participating in numerous psychology courses. This pursuit aligns seamlessly with her innate passion for drawing and painting, allowing her to express herself creatively. Furthermore, her genuine love for meeting new people and establishing connections enriches her personal and professional journey. Dr. Mikhail's heart for the community is evident through her commitment to educating kids; she has created engaging lessons and organized trips and camps for third to sixth graders for over 8 years. Always on the move, she's an avid traveler, having explored more than 10 countries with aspirations of adding many more to the list.

Dr. Pooria Fallah

Dr. Fallah received his DDS degree in 2009 and subsequently completed his residency program in Periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry in 2015. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics in 2016 and has been practicing periodontics in private practice in Dallas since 2015.
